Kayak Mirage Drive Trolling Motor Cassette Mount v1 by krillmonsta

Update: Added v2 where I completely rebuilt the model using shapr3d. I reduced the size and material required, while cleaning up the design. This is my first attempt at making a cassette trolling motor mount for mirage drive kayaks. I designed it specifically for my Hoodoo Impulse 120, but it should be able to fit any kayak with a mirage drive slot with little to no modification. The trolling motor shaft section was designed specifically for a WaterSnake T24 and I use adhesive rubber pads to keep the motor from twisting. I'm a beginner at 3d design and printing, so the model is a bit crude and quite overbuilt but should function well. This design currently uses a lot of filament and takes a long time to print at my initial settings (~63 hours and ~1 kg). This my first working prototype that I'm using now and will continue to update the design as I learn more, looking for opportunities to slim it down and perfect the fit.
