I love the look of gavi's Spherical lattice here on Thingiverse, but don't have a resin printer to get the beautiful print that they do. However, their low-res "visualization only" file is small enough to open in Tinkercad, so I sandwiched it between two spherical layers and printed in translucent filament as an LED light cover. The model is built to fit around a twist-on battery LED assembly I found on amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040ICQVO/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) http://makerhome.blogspot.com (day 68) ===== Twitter: twitter.com/mathgrrl Hacktastic blog: mathgrrl.com/hacktastic Shapeways geekhaus store: shapeways.com/shops/mathgrrl This design and all associated pictures and files are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike license.
